Wow. Great article! Very insightful....

I think part of the beauty of being human, is that we make mistakes. Music is very similar, notes played in sequence, each slightly different than the last (pitch, volume, tone, etc) depending on how you strum and feel the instrument.

Each instrument is a work in progress, not only to learn but to maintain too.

God did not design us to be robots, he gave us free will so that we would make the mistakes that we make. Maybe in some cosmic way..... our lives are like music to God..

Your article got me thinking. Great stuff!!!

If you have a moment, I am with the Chicago Music Exchange, and we have a solid collection of classic Vintage Guitars I would love for you to check out. We also carry some hot boutique items, effects, and amps... Our repair shop is top notch too!

If your ever in Chicago, stop by our store..... Many people call it a museum of sorts, I prefer to call it Guitar Heaven..

Thanks!
And God Bless.

I had to read the last paragraph twice because you made such a fast jump from music to sin. Well, maybe it wasn't fast for you, but I took the slow train...

The idea of focusing on what can go wrong in order for all to go right is a process I usually don't participate in. Not because I think it's wrong - there's something very wise about being completely aware of what can go wrong - but I'm so much more of a "target" person. My husband is the one who naturally sees the obstacles, so I guess we balance each other out!

But sin... the idea of trying to avoid instead of focusing on becoming... it's great food for thought!

PS - I love that Amazing precedes your wife's name!
