This post makes me want to yield to God. I want to wait on Him; where else can we go for life? He has it. I must say I wanted to take a shower after reading that part about the grime and day’s nastiness….good imagery. But may Jesus, the source, unfold more of himself. I pray it back to you while you work hard. May he grant you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him….

I love your analogy of leaving this life and coming home to God as “peeling off your work clothes covered with sweat and dirt.” Never thought of it that way, so true. Awesome post!!

I can call you “son”. But it is not the same. It does not even begin to fill that hunger, that starvation for feeling sonship in every cell. Your words of tiredness, reaching within, and deeply longing and hungering, as well as the knowing you have, touch deeply into me.
