Soooooo true! I tried thinking “different” for a time. All it did was increase my fear of ‘what if I fail at this…’ and give me a headache. “Differently,” however, has changed my life in the face of fear, and melted the fear away! So hard to describe the “difference,” but it’s real, it’s great, and it’s God! Enjoying walking it out!

“God’s intent and motive toward me”. Those are the melodies I’m open to listen on my favorite frequency…shhhhhh. I guess that if we have at least one confident expectation we can start to reason “with” God about the intent and motive, so to understand the waves on the day to day experience. What a great time!!!! I hope to be humble (smart enough) to recibe it. He has the greatest ideas ever.

Luke 12:29-32 has been a catalyst for me to think differently the past few months – especially as it is presented in The Message:

Luke 12:29-32″What I’m trying to do here is get you to relax, not be so preoccupied with getting so you can respond to God’s giving. People who don’t know God and the way he works fuss over these things, but you know both God and how he works. Steep yourself in God-reality, God-initiative, God-provisions. You’ll find all your everyday human concerns will be met. Don’t be afraid of missing out. You’re my dearest friends! The Father wants to give you the very kingdom itself.” MSG

God-reality, God-initiative, God-provisions. No me-reality, me-initiative, me-provisions.

Thinking differently, indeed.
